ABOUT
His camera records the data he receives from everyday views. From these raw captures, he utilizes electronic tools as a kind of paint box.
This visual exploration leads him to search for color and contours hidden below the surface. And under the surface, there appears a battle between order and disorder, structure and entropy – forces whose opposition often results in tremendous beauty.
Having struggled lifelong with corneal disease, the highly changeable nature of his vision means that no scene is perceived in the same way at two different times. Photography, like vision, is as much about interpreting what we perceive as it is about gathering evidence.
These images are offerings of provocation. What do you perceive?
